Web Development

some of the work I've done

At CanvasPrints, I helped keep thousands of daily orders flowing smoothly during a major infrastructure transition. My role focused on migrating to a new fulfillment center and reconnecting the internal admin tools, dashboards, and APIs that powered their order pipeline. It was a large-scale e-commerce project that required precision under pressure — ensuring limited downtime, accurate data flow, and a seamless experience for both customers and staff. The end result: a faster, more reliable fulfillment process that scaled effortlessly with demand.

I gave Mid Mo Telecom & Security a full digital upgrade — redesigning their website from the ground up and streamlining how they do business online. I built a custom application intake system, revamped their payment flow for smoother transactions, and added a warm-lead capture setup that keeps new customer inquiries flowing. Clean, fast, and fully automated — just how modern telecom should feel.

Missouri Corrections

MoCorrections came to me looking for a way to take control of their job postings — no more relying on outside platforms or slow updates. I built them a clean, branded site where they can easily publish and share openings directly, improving visibility and knowledge transfer for potential recruits. Now, their hiring process feels as professional as the organization itself.

Precession
Driveline and Fab

I worked with Precision Driveline & Fabrication to give their online presence a complete refresh. The redesign focused on showcasing their custom auto fabrication and driveline services, making it easy for customers to explore offerings, request quotes, and get in touch. The result is a modern, mobile-friendly site that reflects the precision and craftsmanship of their work, while giving their team an easy-to-manage platform for ongoing updates.

My Quality Clean

I gave My Quality Clean’s online presence a full refresh — turning their dated site into a clean, modern experience that actually reflects the quality of their services. The redesign focused on clarity, mobile performance, and strong calls-to-action to help them convert more visitors into clients. The result? A polished, easy-to-navigate site that’s as spotless as the homes they clean.

Radio Stations

One of my first projects at Zimmer Communications was a massive overhaul of nearly every station website in their portfolio — from Y107 to 93.9 The Eagle. In less than a year, we rebuilt more than a dozen sites, modernizing their look, improving performance, and streamlining content management. It was a huge project that brought consistency, speed, and a better experience to millions of listeners across the network.

Tech Stack:

WordPress

WordPress powers over 40% of all websites on the internet — and for good reason. It’s a proven, open-source platform that’s constantly updated, endlessly customizable, and supported by one of the largest developer communities in the world. Whether you need a simple brochure site or a fully dynamic platform with e-commerce, forms, memberships, or automation — WordPress can handle it. It’s secure, flexible, and scales beautifully from small local businesses to enterprise-grade builds.

For small to medium-sized businesses, WordPress is often the perfect balance between power and simplicity. You don’t need a massive budget or a dedicated tech team to manage it — yet it can grow as your business does. With thousands of plugins and integrations available, WordPress can solve just about any website problem you throw at it, from SEO optimization to lead capture and online payments. It’s trusted, tested, and still the backbone of the modern web.

JavaScript

JavaScript is the connective tissue of the modern web — it’s everywhere, from front-end interfaces to full-stack frameworks and automation tools. It’s the language that lets me bring websites to life, making them dynamic, responsive, and interactive across all devices. Beyond browsers, JavaScript’s ecosystem has expanded massively through Node.js, allowing for server-side scripting, API development, and streamlined deployment pipelines — all in one unified language.

For me, JavaScript represents flexibility and speed of execution. I can prototype, build, and deploy without switching stacks or languages, and the ecosystem around it (React, Next.js, Express, etc.) continues to push the web forward. Whether it’s powering real-time interfaces, backend services, or automating workflows, JavaScript remains a cornerstone of my development process — the bridge between clean design and technical precision.

Ruby

Ruby has always been about developer happiness — and that philosophy shows in every line of code. It’s clean, readable, and incredibly efficient for building backend systems, automating workflows, or managing data-driven applications. When I’m building something that needs to be rock-solid yet quick to develop, Ruby (and often Ruby on Rails) makes it easy to move fast without sacrificing maintainability.

It’s also a language that fits perfectly into my dev ops mindset. Ruby scripts handle automation, server tasks, and integration between services with minimal friction. Its mature ecosystem, active community, and well-tested libraries make it a reliable choice for long-term projects. Whether I’m spinning up APIs, automating deployments, or building out business logic, Ruby gives me the speed and confidence to keep everything running smoothly.
